Slabs of Silestone

With gray cabinets, we wanted our countertops to create a bold contrast. Yukon Blanco is the color of white we chose; it's bright and modern and simple. We splurged on quartz-- a natural stone that rivals granite. Specifically, we went with the company Silestone. Their quartz countertops come with a 15-year warranty. Basically, this product is super durable in the kitchen; it's stain, acid, impact, and scratch resistent. We had it professionally installed. It took the guys over 4 hours to cut and set our countertops (holes for the under-mount sink and gas cooktop had to be customized). They did an amazing job! 

I was so excited to see the white brighten up our kitchen!!!  Ahhh! I foresee many meals at this bar. I already have the bar stools picked out. Just saving my pennies and waiting for them to go on sale!
